Print Settings: Materials & Profiles

The Material and Profile settings enable you to choose a variety of resins and layer thicknesses for your prints.

The Material setting defines the type of resin to be used (e.g., Autodesk CMYK).

The Profile setting defines the print layer thickness for a given material.  

To access the Material and Profile settings, click the resin name on the main screen, as shown below:

In the settings window, first select the Material, and then select the Profile you want to use for the print. 

From the Material dropdown menu, select the type of resin that you plan to use for the print. Next, from the Profiles dropdown menu, select the layer thickness you would like to use. Once you have chosen your material and print profile, click OK, and the settings icon will update with your chosen material and print profile. This process is demonstrated below:

 

HOW TO DUPLICATE, DELETE, IMPORT, & EXPORT A PRINT PROFILE

To save, import, or export print settings, open the Settings window. Click on the "..." in the Profiles section to reveal the following options:

    • Duplicate profile
    • Delete profile 
    • Export profile
    • Import profile

Print setting files are saved in .json format. Importing a profile is demonstrated below: 

After the print profile has been imported, if you wish to apply it to the job, be sure to select Custom in the Material dropdown menu, and select the imported profile in the Profiles dropdown.
